BALANCE: We love the original work made by Mr Pilates (and others) but it has some head-scratchers and a lot of the work is really out of reach for most of us with 21st century bodies. We balance our preservation of the legacy with tools to make the work accessible and when it’s right we take our clients and course participants deep into the classical method.

To be a great teacher you need to be a great student: We offer you plenty of opportunities to develop your own practice and soak up more experiences with our ongoing workshops and work-outs. Sure, they are paid in addition to the course fee, but these are invaluable experiences and of course, not compulsory.
Learning materials: Our video library and learning support is complimentary with every enrolment. I created it personally because although I enjoy reading from a manual I knew that our participants deserved every resource to support success. These videos and tutorials help you t develop your teaching eye and offer extreme precision that you will be measured on for certification. We were the first in the world to do this! IN. THE. WORLD.
It’s a method, not a toy box! We all have a favourite apparatus… but whether you choose one apparatus or the full course, our passion for the entire method and client comes through. You will understand the Mat Or Reformer beyond itself and see how it fits in to a fuller system, the complete framework of the original method and this quality is what defines and drives a true Pilates professional.
Access: Regional/Remote/Parent? You can work with us in the live course on Zoom OR purchase the online content only (plus/minus certification) and work through the material at your own pace.
COMPREHENSIVE: This word gets thrown around a lot. To us… it means ALL of the apparatus (yes, even the Guillotine, Baby Chair, High Chair, Foot and Toe Correctors, the tensometers… etc.) PLUS we detail how to work with clients at all stages of the lifespan and where to offer post-rehabilitation care and when to refer. Our comprehensive course also offers lectures in how to care for your body, your physical voice and your mind and professional identity. With the comprehensive course, you will benefit from our proprietary information around teaching the original work in the group format to the general public. This is just the beginning … it IS comprehensive, so that you can work with confidence for years to come.
AVAILABLE: Outside of the contact days and feedback for assessments, we are available for private sessions and you can even join our general public group class programme. We only ask that you follow the same community guidelines as our clients so that it is a harmonious and equitable environment. The more access you have to your lecturers, method and equipment, the easier it is to chip through the course work… because you are experiencing it live in your body and mind.
ASSESSMENTS THAT SUPPORT YOU: Our tasks and certification pathway are built to enhance your teaching journey, building you up to work with real clients in your first years out of the course who don’t behave and move the same as your movement professional classmates in a course. These learning tasks are based on our deep care of the original work while being client-centred and development oriented; this way you don’t need to race out for additional training once you graduate with us.
EQUIPMENT HEAVEN: You name it, we have it. Our studio is stacked with authentic equipment made to the original specifications by the best in the business. We have Reformers to support all heights, all of the chairs (multiple), barrels and goodies and it’s all in the best condition and cared lovingly by our staff, clients and community. This equipment doesn’t just look a bit different, it makes you feel different. The results that original Pilates equipment can deliver is truly second to none and this will be your home for the foreseeable future.
